2O12 SCHEDULE

OCTOBER 7 THROUGH OCTOBER 12, 2O12

VIR, THE HOMESTEAD, THE GREENBRIER, BERRY HILL PLANTATION AND 1OOO MILES OF SPECTACULAR MOUNTAIN ROADS!

In its 8th year, Mountain Mille has become one of our most popular events. And with good reason! The roads are incredible, the Mountain Mille "extended family group" is terrific and the hotels are truly world-class.

As usual, we'll have overnights at The Homestead and The Greenbrier, making Mountain Mille the most luxurious old car tour on the planet!

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7

Sunday afternoon, we’re invited to a private estate in Hot Springs, Virginia for cocktails and an informal concours.

Dinner and overnight will be at The Homestead. This National Historic Landmark has been consistently rated one of the world’s best resorts since it was founded in 1766.

The Homestead offers a world-class spa, mineral springs, three golf courses, tennis, sporting clays, horseback riding and even falconry lessons.

The Homestead is easily reached from I-64 and I-81. If you’re towing, there’s safe parking for your tow rig during the week. If you’re flying in, we’ll pick you up with a Porsche Cayenne or Panamera at Roanoke International Airport.

Jean has booked rooms at The Homestead for Friday and Saturday night, if you’d like to arrive early to decompress and enjoy the many amenities. Call her asap.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 8

We’ll rally over fabulous West Virginia mountain roads, stopping for a gourmet lunch. Our destination for dinner and overnight is The Greenbrier, considered the premier American resort, thanks to its classic “Romance and Rhododendrons” interiors by Dorothy Draper, totally updated by her protege Carleton Varney at the behest of a new owner who has completely redone the whole place.

Add Georgian architecture, an elaborate spa, immaculate grounds, multiple golf courses, gourmet restaurants, a new upscale casino, and, well...you’ve created the ultimate resort.

Like The Homestead, The Greenbrier is a National Historic Landmark and Historic Hotel of America.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9

We’ll head east over the enchanted Blue Ridge Mountains to lunch at a Virginia vineyard, then visit historic Appomattox. Dinner and overnight accomodations will be at Berry Hill Plantation, a gracious and beautifully-restored 1728 mansion on 650 acres.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1O

In the morning, we’ll rally our way around the Virginia/North Carolina border, then head to Virginia International Raceway for lunch and an afternoon of track activities. Porsche Cars North America is planning to bring Hurley Haywood and/or David Donohue to give rides around VIR in new Porsches, plus you can drive various Porsches yourself or your own vintage sports car on the track.

Bored with the track? We’ll zip you back to the beautiful spa at Berry Hill. Dinner and overnight will be at Berry Hill Plantation.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11

We’ll return north through historic areas of Virginia and West Virginia. Overnight accomodations and our elegant Black Tie Victory Banquet will be at The Homestead.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12

Our event ends with a leisurely breakfast at The Homestead.

And the Mountain Mille is over till next year...except for new friends and great memories!

(Schedule subject to added delights.)
