Midland to Marfa via Fort Stockton and Chinati Foundation



TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2O1O:

Marfa to Lajitas Resort via Fort Davis and McDonald Observatory




WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2O1O:

Lajitas to Lajitas via Fort Leaton, Big Bend National Park and Chisos Canyon



THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2O1O:

Lajitas to Midland via Marathon and Chaparral Museum



FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2OO9:

After a leisurely breakfast, the Texas 1OOO is over for another year, except for new friends and great memories!

Each day covers about 3OO miles. All driving is on paved, two-lane roads; no highways, no cities, no dirt or gravel, little or no traffic. There are a few long straights, but mostly our roads range from glorious sweepers to tight switchbacks, from sea level to the highest points in Texas. There are no finer Grand Touring roads in the world!
